This is a small, independent operation seeking to add reliable support to help manage day-to-day financial tasks.

Role Description – Part-Time Bookkeeper (On-Site, Pittsburgh, PA)We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist with routine accounting and financial organization. This is an on-site role, 3 days per week, offering $24.00 per hour.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a small business environment. You will report directly to the business owner and play a key role in keeping financial records organized, current, and accurate so the business can run smoothly.

This is a steady, low-drama role with clear responsibilities, consistent workflow, and a practical, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and general ledger entries
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements across multiple accounts
  • Track expenses and organize financial records
  • Assist with basic reporting and documentation using QuickBooks Online
  • Support overall financial organization for a small business

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required, including reporting and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks without close supervision
  • Small business experience is a plus

Compensation & Schedule

  • $24.00 per hour
  • Part-time: 3 days per week (on-site, Monroeville-area, Pittsburgh, PA)
  • Payroll processing is not a requirement of this role
