Social Media Summer e.l.f.tern, e.l.f. SKIN

The Social Media Summer e.l.f.tern, e.l.f. SKIN, will support the planning, creation, and execution of social-first content for e.l.f. SKIN, helping the brand show up authentically and trend-forward across platforms. This role offers hands-on experience with content development, community support, campaign coordination, and performance tracking in a fast-moving, digital-first environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, creation, and execution of social media content across platforms
• Assist with building and maintaining social content calendars
• Brainstorm and pitch social-first, trend-relevant content ideas
• Draft captions, text overlays, and community responses under guidance
• Support campaign launches and seasonal moments through asset organization and coordination
• Assist with social reporting, performance tracking, and post-campaign recaps
• Monitor trends, sounds, and cultural moments relevant to e.l.f. SKIN

Requirements:

• Must be available for the full internship period: June 17th - August 21st
• Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship
• Strong interest in social media, beauty, skincare, and digital culture
• Passion for content creation and storytelling
• Familiarity with social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
• Strong written communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Creative, curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Business Rationale:

• This summer, the Social Media e.l.f.tern will support the creation and execution of social-first content for e.l.f. SKIN, with a focus on day-to-day social management and hands-on content development. Key responsibilities include writing copy for in-feed and social content, organizing and managing UGC, supporting co-branded giveaways, and maintaining content calendars. The role will also contribute to trend-led and real-time social moments, as well as performance tracking and reporting to help inform ongoing content strategy.

$20 - $20 an hour
