Overview The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful, hands‑on experience to students with leadership potential and proven academic performance. Werfen hires students majoring in Engineering or Life Sciences based on business needs. Ideal candidates combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem‑solving abilities. Responsibilities Perform entry‑level work of a routine nature, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in a sequence of related tasks. Assist in the day‑to‑day activities of the team, supporting other departments on projects and gaining in‑depth knowledge of products and associated processes. Support regulatory submissions for adverse events and prepare MDRs for FDA and Health Canada submissions. Assist with correction and removal files and communications. Execute additional assignments related to RA/QA to support Werfen requirements and priorities. Key Attributes Confidence in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Enthusiasm, motivation, initiative, and ability to work in a collaborative, energetic environment. Review process procedures, change orders, equipment specifications, validation plans, and reports. Assist in creating, reviewing, and maintaining department files. Summarize findings using computer readouts, statistical summaries, graphs, and other methods. Qualifications Currently pursuing a B.S. in Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, Engineering, Finance, Business, or Marketing with at least 2 college semesters completed. Ability to multitask. The hourly range for this role is $22–$30 per hour, with final compensation based on relevant experience and grade level.
