We are a local pet care company looking for reliable independent contractors to handle dog walks, cat visits, and overnight stays in Greenwood Village, Englewood, and parts of Centennial. If you love working with animals, want total control over your schedule, and want to run your pet care day your way, we’d love to talk to you.

While this role offers incredible flexibility and autonomy, it is a real job that carries real professional accountability. Our clients trust us with their homes and the lives of their pets, so we look for dedicated people who take their commitments seriously and take pride in being exceptionally dependable. It’s a wonderful fit for established pet care professionals looking to add steady client volume to their schedule, or active pet lovers who want to treat our clients' pets and homes with the absolute highest level of respect.

Must-Haves:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must have a reliable, insured car and a valid driver’s license to travel between client homes.
• Must be physically able to walk multiple dogs a day, handle large or high-energy dogs, and work outdoors in all kinds of Colorado weather.
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Must have a smartphone with a data plan to use our scheduling app while out on visits.
• Living in or immediately adjacent to Greenwood Village, Englewood, or Centennial is highly preferred due to daily travel requirements between client homes.
• Must have (or get) a Pet First Aid & CPR certification before taking your first client assignment.

What You'll Do:

• Drop-ins & Walks: You will perform 15-, 20-, 30-, 45-, and 60-minute visits, depending on what the client books. This includes walking dogs for exercise, feeding and refreshing their water, scooping litter boxes for cats, administering oral or topical medications, and giving pets plenty of individualized attention and playtime.
• Overnights: Provide dedicated 12- or 18-hour overnight stays inside the client’s home. This service is designed to keep pets completely safe and comfortable, and to maintain their normal morning and evening routines while their owners are away.
• Client Updates: Communication is a huge part of what we do. You will use our dedicated app to check in and out of every visit, and send a detailed note with photos to the client as soon as the service is completed so they have total peace of mind.
• Home Security: Ensure clients' homes are kept locked and secure during and after your visits, bring in mail or packages if requested, and leave the home exactly as you found it.

Pay & Expectations:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position paid by commission split per visit, not a flat hourly wage. What you make depends entirely on your availability, the types of services you accept, and how many visits you want to take.

• Estimated Range: $1,000 to $4,500+ per month.
• The Reality: This is highly flexible. Contractors picking up a few light visits a month generally make between $170 and $1,000. Contractors handling a full schedule of daily visits and regular overnight stays routinely make between $3,100 and $4,400+ a month.
• Service Rates: Short visits usually pay out $15 to $25 each, and overnights pay a competitive flat rate. You also keep 100% of your client tips.
• Professional Split: We pay a 75%-90% split of the client fee. Our highest 90% split is a tier reserved for contractors who demonstrate top-tier professionalism by operating under their own registered LLC/DBA and holding a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) credential.

Colorado Benefits Disclosure: Because this is a 1099 contractor role, it is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits like health insurance, PTO, or retirement plans. You have total autonomy over your schedule, your service volume, and which specific clients you choose to accept.
