**Job Title: Part-Time Cook/Server**

**Position Type:** Part-Time
**Reports To:** Kitchen Manager/Director of Food Services

**Job Summary:**
Signal Mountain Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Cook/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals, serving residents, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role requires a commitment to quality, safety, and customer service, while also being sensitive to the dietary needs of our residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Culinary Duties:**
- Prepare and cook meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating residents’ feedback and dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and tracking supplies and food items.
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

**Serving Duties:**
- Serve meals to residents in a friendly and timely manner, enhancing their dining experience.
- Provide attentive and courteous service, responding to residents’ needs and preferences.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning the dining area before and after meals.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication during service times.

**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
