The position involves journey-level locksmith duties in the installation, maintenance, and repair of all district locking mechanisms, including doors, jambs, closures, lock security mechanism, electrical security devices for doors, windows, gates, or any other secured space; maintains district master record system of keys and locks. Current openings: one 12-month/40 hours per week position. Salary placement will be on Range 32 on the CSEA Salary Schedule "B." Initial salary placement for new employees is customarily at Step 1 ($5,470.64 per month) of this salary range. Answers to the supplemental questions must be submitted with your application. Proof of completion in a recognized locksmith apprenticeship program, or a copy of your certificate of achievement in locksmith or a closely related field from a recognized college or trade school must be submitted with your application (if applicable). Proof of your highest obtained education, a valid CA Driver's License, and proof of car insurance must be submitted by the final test part.
