Job Title: Live Coin Seller (Whatnot) Location: Blue Ridge Gold & Jewelry – Abingdon, VA Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Job Overview: Blue Ridge Gold & Jewelry is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and engaging Live Coin Seller to host and manage live-stream coin auctions on Whatnot. This role is perfect for someone passionate about coins, silver, and collectibles who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and enjoys interacting with a live audience. Key Responsibilities: Host live coin auctions on Whatnot, maintaining high energy and engagement throughout streams Accurately present, describe, and price coins, bullion, and collectible items Build rapport with viewers and encourage bidding activity Manage pacing of auctions to maximize sales and viewer retention Handle inventory before, during, and after live shows Ensure all items are authentic, properly graded (when applicable), and represented honestly Package and coordinate fulfillment of sold items (if required) Stay up to date on coin values, market trends, and collector demand Qualifications: Strong knowledge of coins, silver, bullion, and collectibles (preferred) Sales experience, especially in live selling or auctions (highly preferred) Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging with a live audience Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to think quickly and adapt during live shows Basic understanding of pricing, margins, and negotiation Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Preferred Skills: Experience using Whatnot or similar live-selling platforms Background in numismatics or precious metals Social media or live-streaming experience Ability to identify key-date coins, errors, and valuable pieces Compensation: Base pay + commission OR commission-based (depending on experience) Performance bonuses based on sales volume Opportunity for growth within the company Why Work With Us: Established and trusted gold & coin business High-volume inventory and strong customer base Opportunity to build your personal brand as a live seller Fast-paced, exciting work environment with real earning potential How to Apply: Apply in person at Blue Ridge Gold & Jewelry or contact us directly with your experience in coin sales, live streaming, or collectibles.
