The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. This role is essential to supporting safe, efficient operating room operations while working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Hours: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Shift: Four 10‑hour shifts (4×10s)
• Requirements:
  • Weekday and weekend call rotation
  • Holiday rotation

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Function as a team member in the operating room to support medical and nursing staff during the pre, intra, and post-operative phase, including room turnover, clean and stock supplies and equipment and patient transport.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients timely, safely and with proper documents.
• Assists with room turnover. Has necessary equipment gathered, assists with gathering and removing soiled trash, and linen, biohazardous waste.
• Assists with positioning and prepping of patient. Obtains blood and blood products, additional supplies, equipment, instruments as needed during procedure.
• Performs housekeeping duties to assigned areas.
