Ensures customers are always delighted by performing the key steps of our selling model. Develops the optical skills of others and creates an effective learning environment. Major Duties And Responsibilities Conveys a commitment to providing unsurpassed Customer Service by performing the following Sales and Service Process steps: Execute our CEE Service Model through Connect, Explore and Exceed Support problem solving and troubleshooting Engage customers with use of technology to enhance experiences Delivers the Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision Celebrate LensCrafters Advantages and lead in setting the tone for customer service at location Anticipate problems before they occur and develop long‑term solutions Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that match lifestyle, prescription and price, and recommend solutions Show patience and courtesy, and find answers to unfamiliar questions Support co‑workers and cooperate in group efforts Provide expertise in optical acumen to guide associates Educate customers on LensCrafters guarantees and services (e.g., eyewear care tips, adjustments, warranties) Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear accurately, and produce quality results Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements Celebrate LC Advantages at dispense Strive for “Exceptional Results” on annual CEI/Functional Skills Operate the Point of Sale terminal accurately and securely, collect payment and process various transactions Use Order tracker to support customers getting ready‑when‑promised orders Maintain store appearance and visual displays per planograms Maintain a positive and productive Macy’s Host relationship Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent ABO Certification Optical dispensing experience Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise Knowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of inventory management systems Strong communication and listening skills Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet Comfortable with using technology to engage patients, customers and associates Preferred Qualifications Actively studying LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program Previous customer service and retail experience This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
