NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to handle a new, dedicated distribution route within our established Indianapolis, IN operation. Your Mission

• Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier’s reputation for reliability and punctuality.
• Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.

What to Expect: Distribution Route

A distribution route is a consistent, high-volume delivery circuit. Unlike on-demand courier work, you will start at a centralized hub to load pre-sorted packages and then follow a dense, efficient route to complete a set number of daily stops. This provides a predictable schedule and steady weekly revenue for your business.

Route Details & Schedule (Indianapolis Area)

• Compensation: Paid per piece, with an estimated average weekly commission of $957.86.
• Schedule: 4 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Start/End Time: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM Start, typically completing the route by 5:00 PM.
• Required Vehicle: Minivan.
• Weekly Mileage: Approximately 280–500 miles.
• Daily Stops: 3-week daily average of 56 stops.
• Geographic Area: Indianapolis area, covering assigned zip codes including:
• 46208: Indianapolis (Butler-Tarkington/Crown Hill)
• 46240: Indianapolis (Nora/Northside)
• 46260: Indianapolis (North Central)
• 46268: Indianapolis (Augusta/College Park)
• 46278: Indianapolis (Traders Point)
• 46288: Indianapolis (Southside/Emerson Ave)

Requirements

To maintain our industry-leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:

• Age: Be at least 21 years of age .
• Vehicle Requirements:
• Candidates must possess a Minivan .
• The vehicle must be 2013 model year or newer that is suitable for delivery. The vehicle must be in good working condition , maintain a professional appearance, be rust-free and pass a multi-point vehicle inspection
• Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
• Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• Pre-Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process before beginning work, which includes a:
• Driving History Review (past 36 months)
• Criminal Background Check
• Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening
