Job Description

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional HR Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team! Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources is required. Primary Duties/Responsibilities New hire preparation and processing within the human resources information system. Accurate and timely file maintenance, I-9's, background checks, and drug testing. Must ensure that all policies and procedures are followed. Reviews third party payroll software for errors and inconsistencies, including new hire preparation and processing. Assist employees with third party software self-service questions and/or issues. Assist in maintaining accurate and timely filed personnel records in accordance with data storage policies. Assist with writing and maintaining accurate job descriptions for active job titles/positions within the agency. Performs other duties as assigned. Benefits Individual and family medical benefits for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week. Individual and family dental and vision benefits on the first of the month following the hire date for employees working 20 or more hours week. Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance on the first of the month following the hire date for employees working 20 or more hours per week. 403(B) Retirement on date of hire for employees working 20 or more hours per week. 403(B) Retirement + Employer Match after one year of employment for employees working 20 or more hours per week. 401(A) Retirement on date of hire for employees working 20 or more hours per week.
