We are seeking a skilled Furniture Repair Technician to support quality control and restoration efforts for a growing organization in the luxury home furnishings space. This role is responsible for repairing and refurbishing furniture from incoming shipments and customer returns, ensuring all products meet high standards prior to resale.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and refurbishments to restore returned or damaged furniture to like-new or inventory-ready condition
• Assess damage across a variety of materials (e.g., wood, upholstery, leather, metal, stone, resin) and determine appropriate repair methods
• Utilize techniques such as fillers, burn-ins, structural repairs, color matching, and part replacement
• Maintain daily productivity goals and accurately track completed work
• Adapt to varying repair needs and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in furniture repair or a related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools
• Strong proficiency in woodworking, upholstery repair, leather repair, faux finishing, and color matching
• Ability to work across multiple material types including wood, fabric, leather, and metal
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in achieving seamless repairs
• Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing 50+ pounds

Compensation

Starting hourly rate: $29.00 – $33.00 , depending on experience and qualifications.
