About the Role:

Join RECLAIM EDUCATION INC as a Founding Board Member and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education in Metro Atlanta, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with passionate individuals dedicated to fostering innovative learning solutions that empower students and communities. This is a volunteer role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for the organization’s mission and vision.
• Collaborate with fellow board members to develop and implement educational initiatives.
• Advocate for the organization within the community and among stakeholders.
• Ensure financial health through effective budgeting and fundraising efforts.
• Monitor organizational performance and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in outreach to build partnerships with local businesses and educational institutions.
• Participate in board meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
• Support the recruitment and development of executive leadership.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leadership roles, preferably in education or non-profit sectors.
• Strong understanding of educational policies and community needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Commitment to the mission of RECLAIM EDUCATION INC.
• Experience in fundraising and financial oversight is a plus.
• Willingness to dedicate time and resources to board activities.
• Demonstrated passion for improving educational outcomes for all students.
