We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ESL instructor to teach advanced-level English grammar in a dynamic, fast-paced learning environment. This position involves working with diverse student populations, including F-1 international students and local residents aiming to improve their English proficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach advanced-level ESL grammar courses in a 4-week intensive program format
• Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with established Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of a diverse classroom
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress
• Administer pre-prepared monthly exams
• Accurately report student attendance on a daily basis
• Accurately submit grades on a weekly basis
• Utilize classroom technology and assign/manage online homework

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of ESL teaching experience (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (required)
• Certification in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language (TESL/TEFL/CELTA or equivalent) (required)
• Experience teaching advanced-level grammar
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Comfortable using instructional technology and online learning platforms
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intensive program environment
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Flexible and able to adapt to program needs
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Preferred (Not Required):

• Familiarity with Azar Grammar or Pathways curriculum
