ELECTRICIAN / MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Up to $30.00 an hour based on experience.
$500 Sign-On Bonus

 

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment breakdowns.
• Use of analog, digital test equipment, and electrical tools.
• Experience with networked I/O PLC networks and industrial networking.
• Servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of DC drives and Servo drives.
• PLC troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA regulations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Experience with the following helpful:

• Ability to perform minor power projects which include conduit and wiring installation.
• Ability to understand complex electrical and pneumatic control diagrams.
• Knowledge or ability to use machine shop equipment.
• HVAC experience.
• Familiarity with newspaper printing presses and mailroom processing equipment.

On-the-job training where needed

Requirements:

• 3 years of Industrial electrical / maintenance.
• Experience working with voltages of 600 volts or less and associated equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Motivated.
• Microsoft office applications or similar.
• Physical requirements include but are not limited to climbing and working from ladders and steps, working in some confined spaces, periodic moderate to heavy lifting as related to various jobs.
• Work schedule is nights, weekends, and holidays.
• The team will assist with training.
