It partners closely with cross-functional leaders in R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to support disciplined decision-making. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity focused on scaling execution maturity and enabling sustainable growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead prioritization, scenario planning, and trade-off recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Define and continuously improve project management frameworks, tools, and governance standards across the organization.
  • Drive disciplined stage-gate and phase-gate processes from concept through commercialization in compliance-driven environments.
  • Ensure alignment of all projects with business strategy, commercial priorities, and organizational capacity.
  • Act as escalation owner for complex, high-risk, or cross-functional execution issues impacting portfolio delivery.
  • Partner with functional leaders to ensure accountability, clarity of ownership, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify and resolve execution risks, resource conflicts, and interdependencies across multiple programs.
  • Provide clear, concise portfolio reporting and executive-level insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead and develop a team of project and program managers, building capability, performance standards, and career development pathways.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the project management organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification required.
  • 1015+ years of progressive project or program management experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing project managers or program teams.
  • Strong experience in IVD or medical device development within regulated FDA environments.
  • Deep understanding of design controls and structured product development frameworks.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise or portfolio-level project execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with disciplined execution capabilities.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision facilitation skills.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing project management organizations.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior leadership responsibilities
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Opportunities for career growth and leadership development
  • Exposure to global, cross-functional strategic initiatives
  • Collaborative and innovation-driven work environment
