To transport and assist with facilitating burial of the deceased in an empathetic, professional manner. Role and Responsibilities To collect and deliver bodies with hearse. To ensure that all medical death certificates are collected timeously. To deliver and accept death notices and death certificates from and to Home Affairs. To fulfill all the duties of a Funeral Attendant required by the Funeral Director and Sexton (Gabbai). To collect and deliver goods, members of staff or any other delivery service required by management. To be available for any emergency or duty the burial society allocates as his responsibility. To be available at any time during the day or night (Shift work) in order to perform emergency services for the burial society. Check stock levels Assisting with general duties around the cemetery. Work on Sundays and Public Holidays and be on standby calls when required (shift work).
