Overview Business Process Expert (BPX) Manufacturing Applications — This role combines deep process expertise with project leadership to drive standardization, continuous improvement, and successful deployment of manufacturing applications (WMS/APS/PLE) across global operations. You will work with business stakeholders, divisions, and product companies to define best practices, document processes, and ensure alignment with global templates. A key part of the mission is to lead the global Change Advisory Board (CAB), where proposed changes are presented, reviewed, and prioritized for implementation. The position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with manufacturing applications (APS/WMS), and the ability to manage complex projects in a multicultural environment. Extensive global travel is required. Key Responsibilities Change Management - Take the lead in the global CAB process, ensuring structured evaluation and prioritization of change requests. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT applications. Work with stakeholders to understand the big picture and work towards it. Ensure alignment of IT solutions with business objectives and manufacturing processes. Assist with data mapping and setup of new environments. Implementations - Provide on-site and remote support during the go-live phase of IT applications. Provide on-site and remote support during the go-live phase of GEMS. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during implementation. Train key-users and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption of new systems. Assist with data loads and data corrections to ensure a smooth go-live. Testing & Training - Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new developments and local adaptations. Validate training materials and deliver training sessions to key users. Guide and coach users to embrace process changes and new functionalities in manufacturing applications. Continuous Support & Compliance - Provide steady-state support for divisions and product companies, ensuring stability and continuous improvement of manufacturing applications and related processes. Monitor process and application performance, identify structural issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with stakeholders across IT organizations (security, data privacy, architecture, infrastructure, compliance, audit) to ensure that all changes and operations meet corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and architecture standards. Maintain clear traceability from business requirements to implemented changes, including risk assessments, approvals, and evidence for audits. Proactively raise red flags on risks, non-compliance, or timeline impacts, and facilitate decision-making to resolve cross-functional impediments. Qualifications University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in business process analysis, manufacturing application implementation, and project management. Strong understanding of manufacturing and logistical processes. Experience in continuous improvement and change management programs. Ability to work independently and in global virtual teams. Willingness to travel globally to support implementation projects. Skills Hands-on experience with SQL and an understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts & technologies. Experience with ERP systems and other manufacturing IT applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate changes and project updates to diverse audiences. Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating clear and impactful presentations. Ability to raise red flags proactively when risks or issues arise. Time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Decision-making ability to resolve issues and drive progress in complex projects. Excellent communication and intercultural sensitivity. Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and strict deadlines in a structured way.
