Executive Service ASSISTANT PUBLIC DEFENDER Tennessee District Public Defenders Conference Legal Division Fayetteville, TN Annual Salary: $70,872.00 - $185,724.00 Closing Date: 05/21/2026 Who we are and what we do: The Assistant Public Defender will work at the pleasure of the District Public Defender and will be under his/her direct supervision. The attorney will assume the duties and responsibilities of representing indigent persons for whom the District Public Defender has been appointed as counsel by the Court.
